Custom Pave Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #104690 $7,391 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
The client provided the center stone as well as an image of the inspiration piece she hoped to base her design around. We shared CAD proofs of her unique piece with her through the online workroom we set up to manage her project, and although she was never able to visit our Bellevue, WA showroom in person, she was very happy with the finished piece we produced for her. Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a 2.16 carat princess cut diamond is held aloft by four talon prongs that wrap up and over its crisp corners. The prongs are made of 14k rose gold, and the contrast created between the brilliant white of the diamond and the warm tones of the metal help to accentuate the beauty of both. The client provided the diamond, and we built the ring to perfectly match and highlight its elegant proportions. Rose Gold Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
Below the center, a gallery rail runs around the lower portion of the diamond between the prongs, providing structural stability and a sense of balance to the piece. This rail also holds a line of split prong set diamond accents that add some surprise sparkle to the sides of the ring. Diamond Engagement Rings
The band itself is narrow and straight, and it’s covered with edgeless pave set small round diamonds that bring their own glamorous flair while also creating a connection to the center setting and accent diamonds found there. The diamonds on the band stop about three-quarters of the way down each side, and the client chose to have a matching wedding band made that included diamonds set to match those on the band of the engagement ring in terms of size and setting style, but that continue all the way around to create an eternity design.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
