Item #102840 $4,931 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
After sharing his inspiration pieces with us, he explained how he envisioned combining features from each into a new, unique piece. We discussed his options with him, particularly in terms of the type of metal he wanted for the band and the size of the center diamond. After settling on those particulars, we created a CAD model for him, and after a few minor revisions, it went to production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Diamond
The stone at the center of this ring is a round brilliant cut 0.65 carat diamond. The client had initially wanted a slightly larger stone, but after considering the proportions of the piece and the size of his girlfriend’s hands, he decided a smaller diamond would be better.
This type of setting is very open, and because it raises the diamond up above the rest of the band, there is a clear view of the gem from all sides. This positioning also helps increase the brilliance of the stone, as it can take in light from all around and reflect it back out in every direction as well.
Peridot Accents
Each shank shoulder holds a cluster of three round peridots. The larger of the group is positioned furthest from the center setting, while the two smaller stones are tucked up against the side of the larger diamond. These bring a lovely color contrast to the piece as a counterpoint to the brilliant white of the diamond, and the warm tones of the 18k rose gold that they’re set in also complements them perfectly.
Custom Design Process
There are many ways to begin to design your own dream ring. For instance, you can do what this client did and find several examples of pieces you’d like to borrow features from. Or you can simply let us know what types of styles and features appeal to you, and we’ll come up with an original design that incorporates those elements.
Regardless of how you begin, however, you can revise the models we create until you’re completely satisfied with what we’ve outlined. You can also request to see a wax model of the piece before making your final decision, and we’ll ship it to you if you are not able to visit our Bellevue, WA showroom to take a look at it in person.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
