Description
This elegant engagement ring features a round pink sapphire prong set in white gold, with additional pink sapphire and diamond accents on the band. The design was developed for a client from Eight Mile Plains, Queensland, Australia, who reached out to us online to share some of his inspiration pieces.

Drawing from the examples he provided, we created a unique design that he and his partner adjusted until it was exactly what they wanted. We also helped them explore various gemstone arrangements and options until they settled on this combination that achieved the look they were after. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Three-stone Setting
At the center of this ring is a three-stone setting made up of round pink sapphires, all prong set in 14k white gold. The center stone measures 5.5mm in diameter, and its stunning fire contrasts beautifully with the brilliance of the white gold band.
The side stones are each 3.5mm across, and they’re set slightly below and tucked beneath the larger center. The specific shade of the sapphires was something our client wanted to make sure was exactly right, and we made sure that all three stones were as close as possible to the color he chose. Sapphires are a wonderful alternative to diamonds in engagement rings for several reasons. For starters, they are nearly as hard as diamonds, which makes them able to handle the rigors of daily wear and tear admirably. They are also available in a wide variety of colors, which makes it possible to include just the right shade, as our clients did.
Diamond Accents
As a finishing touch on this piece, round diamonds tapering in size are channel set running down the shank shoulders to the mid-way point on the band. These offer a nice link between the round pink sapphires at the top and the white gold band, and they bring some added sparkle of their own. The diamonds are also lined with milgrain beading to give the piece a sense of completion and to reinforce the classical aesthetic.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
