Description
This gorgeous engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in a four prong setting atop a rose gold knife edge shank. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to begin the custom design process, as well as to view and approve the center diamond. He picked out an inspiration piece that he wanted to use, and after a few modifications were made, he gave us the go-ahead to move things into production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Center Diamond
The centerpiece of this ring is a 0.75 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s prong set in 14k rose gold. The prongs meet the diamond at the compass positions, giving it a vaguely star-like quality and adding a delicate elegance to the design. This look is enhanced, particularly in the top-down view, by the way the band narrows as it nears the top, and the contrast between the brilliant white of the diamond and the rich tones of the rose gold add to the dramatic presentation.
Band Design and Metal Options
The band is relatively narrow all the way around, tapering to its thinnest point as it approaches the main setting. It also features a knife edge, which creates a ridge that runs down the middle of the band all the way around the ring. This adds a classical flair to the design, combining with the rose gold to complete the look. Rose Gold Engagement Rings
However, there are other metal options you may want to consider as you work through the custom design process. Yellow gold, for instance, would bring a different type of contrast to the piece, and white gold or platinum would complement the sparkle of the diamond nicely.
Custom Design Process
Whether you’re interested in customizing this ring or you want to combine some of its features with those in another inspiration piece, our team is ready to assist you. We can show you sample pieces and make suggestions to help you get a clear idea of the types of features you want in your ring. Once we’ve gathered that information, we’ll put together a set of CAD proofs of your unique design, and you can request any modifications you’d like to these until you’re sure they’re perfect.

Customize
Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.
Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
