This stunning engagement ring features an oval diamond in the center of a three-stone setting that also includes two trillion shaped blue sapphires. All of this is accented by small round blue sapphires and a delicate celtic design made of filigree on the polished platinum band. It was created for a couple from Key West, FL as part of a custom wedding set that also included a wedding band, and we made a men’s wedding ring for them at the same time as well. Three-stone Setting
In the center of this ring, an oval diamond sits in a six prong setting, flanked on either side by a trillion cut blue sapphire. This three-stone look is a classic choice for an engagement ring, and the use of contrasting colors for the side stones brings energy and dynamism to the design. This contrast is enhanced by the relationship between the angular side stones and the smooth curves of the center, adding yet another layer of intricacy. Three Stone Engagement Rings
The side sapphires are oriented with one wide edge up against the main setting, allowing a corner to point directly down along the band. This facilitates the transition to the ornate shank shoulder, as the soft triangular shape of the trillion sapphires complements the Celtic knot design nicely.
Sapphire Accents and Band Design
This Celtic knot pattern forms the entirety of both shank shoulders, extending down from the point of the side sapphires in the main setting to nearly the middle of the band on both sides. It smoothly unites the two sections of the ring, and each side holds a small round blue sapphire tucked within its lower loop. Celtic Rings
Matching Wedding Sets
Because we designed both pieces in this wedding set at the same time, we were able to integrate many special elements across both rings. This includes the Celtic pattern, which is even more developed in the matching wedding band. That ring also includes diamond and blue sapphire accents that are tucked into the filigree pattern just as the small sapphires are in this piece.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
