Description
This gorgeous engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set at the top, with pear shaped blue sapphires on the shank shoulders, and custom hand engraving on the ring fronts. It was created for a client from Duvall, WA, who used the Ring Builder feature on our website to share his initial ideas for the kind of ring he wanted us to make. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

After clarifying a few details with him, we developed some concept sketches to make sure we were all on the same page. From there, we built a model in CAD of the ring we proposed to make, and he also visited our Bellevue, WA showroom to see a wax model of this ring before giving his approval to move things into production.
Center Setting
The dazzling 0.90 carat round brilliant cut diamond at the top of this ring is held in place by three palladium white gold prongs that emerge from the twisted floral shank below. One prong meets the diamond in the middle on the bottom, while the other two sit on either side at the top. This allows the center setting to flow smoothly out of the lower portion of the ring, further enhancing the organic themes of the band design.
Blue Sapphires
On either side of the center, a pear shaped blue sapphire is prong set with its rounded end up agains the side of the larger diamond. These bring a burst of color to the ring, and they’re tucked perfectly in the space between the main portion of the band as it curves of to transition into the center setting and the leaves that split off from it. The combination of the leaves and the striking color of the sapphires takes the floral theme a step farther, and it balances the design out nicely as well. Blue Sapphire Engagement Rings
Custom Hand Engraving
Both ring fronts are covered by a delicate scroll-style hand engraving nearly all the way down to the bottom. This adds to the classical feel of the ring, and it’s the kind of detail that our experts add by hand as the final step in the production process, allowing them to customize it a great deal to reflect a pattern or symbol with special significance to you. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
