His fiancee had found a ring online that she loved, and he wanted to customize it to make it the perfect fit for her style. Three-stone Setting
At the center of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond in a four prong platinum setting. The three-stone setting is completed by the two emerald cut diamonds that sit on the shank shoulders, both of which are prong set as well. These tuck in under the side of the large center diamond, and they total 0.34 carats taken together. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Baguette and Round Accents
Just past the side stones in the main setting, a row of baguette diamonds begins on each side, extending down to the mid-point on the band. These are channel set, and they’re arranged vertically in line with the shank. The inspiration piece the client provided had these same types of accents, but they were laid out horizontally instead, making the entire piece wider by extending the middle of the band.
There are also 122 small round diamonds bright cut set along the sides and fronts of the ring. These line the prongs leading up to the main setting, and they run down to the mid-point on the band as well, stopping at the same point as the line of baguettes. All of these are framed with milgrain beading, which helps enhance the vintage overtones of the design.
