Custom Three Stone Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103354Engagement Ring Description
He had a clear idea of the type of ring he wanted for his fiancee-to-be, and so we used the information he gave us to develop a CAD model of the piece we proposed to make. He asked to see what it would look like with a few changes made, and after reviewing the new set of images, he gave approval for us to move his project into production. Three-stone Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.40 carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s prong set in platinum, and a marquise diamond is set on either side of it to complete the three-stone setting. The two marquise stones total 0.36 carats combined, and they sit inline with the band so that one corner points to the center setting, and the other guides the transition to the narrow shank below.
Our original design had pear shaped side stones, but after seeing those CAD renderings, the client requested a version with marquise diamonds in the side positions instead. Once he saw this configuration, he was sold and decided that this was the design to go with. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Diamond and Filigree Accents
Starting just beyond the end of the marquise diamonds, small round diamonds are split prong set down the shank shoulders. These continue to the mid-point on the band, adding a lovely classical flair to the design as well as some additional sparkle.
The space below the main setting on both ring fronts is filled with elegant filigree designs that incorporate swirling scrolls that transition smoothly into the prongs holding the larger diamonds. This gives the ring an elegance and grace that contributes to its classical style and perfectly complements the stunning stones at the top.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
