Custom Three Stone Opal And Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103398 $5,170 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Three-stone Setting
All three of the princess cut diamonds in the main setting of this ring were provided by the client. He asked us to take them out of an existing ring and design a new setting around them based on his other stated feature and style preferences. This allowed us to ensure the ring was perfectly proportioned to show off the stunning beauty of all three stones, and the way they’re arranged in relation to each other creates a truly dramatic presentation. Three Stone Engagement Rings
The largest of the three diamonds is 0.75 carats, and it sits up above the side stones in a four-prong setting that arises smoothly from the very center of the top of the ring. The side stones are tucked slightly under this larger diamond, and they’re angled out a bit to help them flow seamlessly into the band design below.
Diamond and Opal Accents
Both strands of the split criss-cross shank are lined with round bright cut set diamonds down to just past the mid-point on the band. This is also the spot where the two strands come back together, and they continue as a single, smooth piece down to the bottom. Cabochon cut opals are set on each ring front, with their bezel setting directly over the origin point for the prongs holding the center princess cut diamond. Matching Wedding Sets
Custom Wedding Sets
Particularly if you’re interested in this type of engagement ring design, it can be a good idea to have both rings in your wedding set made at the same time. That’s because a tracer band like the one we made to go with this piece must line up perfectly with the engagement ring, requiring that we have that engagement ring to use as a guide throughout the production process.
Of course, we can still make a matching wedding band for you even if you already have an existing engagement, but we may need to borrow the engagement ring during the production process. This will allow us to line up both pieces perfectly, and it will also ensure we can match all details and features precisely.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
