Center Setting
At the center of this piece is a 0.80 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s cradled delicately by four 18k white gold prongs. These are formed by strands of the split shank that rise up from both the top and fronts of the ring, and the way they meet at this gorgeous center stone helps give the ring a satisfying sense of fluidity and balance. Band Design
The band itself is narrowest at the bottom, and it widens steadily going up the sides until it splits right about half-way to the top. The two strands that emerge here curve out slightly before coming back in to cross over each other on their way to meeting the center diamond, at which point they transition into prongs.
On the fronts of the ring, additional strands split off close to where the two primary strands cross, and these continue across below the center diamond before turning up and integrating into the prongs on the far side of the center setting from where they began. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Round bright cut set diamond accents run from the spot where the band splits all the way up to the center diamond on both the top and fronts of the band. These add a wonderful sparkle and glamorous flair to the piece, and they’re lined with milgrain beading as well for a stylish finishing touch.
