Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring
Item #104171Engagement Ring Description
Diamond Solitaire
The only diamond in this ring is large and round brilliant cut. It’s held aloft in an ornate six-prong setting made of 18k white gold, and the way the prongs are arranged around the stone gives it a vaguely floral appearance. That’s complemented by the design of the lower portion of the prongs, each of which are joined to their neighbors to create shapes reminiscent of flower petals. Diamond Engagement Rings
Because this center diamond is the only gemstone in the piece, it’s considered a solitaire design. The solitaire style has long been a favorite for engagement rings, and it’s still possible to work this design into your wedding set while adding complementary accent stones on the matching wedding band.
Band Design and Filigree
The band of this ring features a knife edge that gives it a decidedly glamorous feel. The shoulders of the shank reach up to meet the side of the center setting, while a narrower bridge piece breaks off on the inner margin to continue along the original curvature and connect to the other side of the band. The spot on this bridge piece that sits directly below the main diamond bulges outward slightly in both directions to form a circular platform that supports the filigree making up the lower section of the setting. The filigree is in the form of six marquise shaped sections that are arranged in a circle so that they resemble opening flower petals. Their top corners meet the lowest points of the prongs making up the main setting, and this filigree detail brings even more of an organic feel to the design.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
