Diamond Solitaire
A solitaire design is one that includes only one gemstone, and a diamond solitaire is a very traditional choice for an engagement ring. That doesn’t mean it can’t also be unique, however, and this piece is an excellent example of the ways you can integrate different types of features into a piece to make it stand out. The centerpiece of this ring is a round brilliant cut diamond, and the six yellow gold prongs holding it in place are each formed out of two strands that diverge and reconnect on their way from the base of the setting to the top of the stone. This gives them the look of flower petals, and the way they encircle the diamond give the ring an overall floral appearance.
Band Design
This organic theme is reinforced by the use of yellow gold for the band, which adds color and contrast to the piece. Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
