Diamond Solitaire
At the top of this ring, a one-carat round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four-prong setting made of 18k white gold. The prongs wrap gently up over the girdle of the stone, sitting at the widest points of the shank shoulders to provide a lovely frame for the center as well. The fact that there is only one gemstone in this piece is what makes it a solitaire design, and this is a style that’s long been used in engagement rings. Diamond Engagement Rings
Organic Band Design
On both shank shoulders, a butterfly spreads its wings to bridge the distance between the two prongs on that side of the center setting. From that topmost point of intersection, the band tapers down along with the butterfly.
Right below the bottom tips of the butterfly’s wings is a rose, and both ring fronts in this area are covered with a pattern of leaves and stems that adds significantly to the organic look of the ring. As a finishing touch, this organic, branching pattern is incorporated into the lower portion of the prongs holding the center stone on both ring fronts. Solitaire Engagement Rings
Customization Options
Customizing a piece like this could involve switching to rose gold for the band to help enhance the organic overtones of the ring with some vintage warmth. Alternately, you could choose a different color of diamond or a different type of stone entirely for the center, as adding color here would work well with the floral style of the band as well.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
