Diamond Solitaire
The centerpiece of this design is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s displayed beautifully in a four-prong setting made of 18k white gold. The fact that this is the only gemstone in the ring is what makes it a solitaire design, which is a popular style when it comes to engagement rings.
Organic Band Design
The shank shoulders of this piece are composed of ornate filigree in the form of leaves and flowers that bring a wonderful organic feel to the design. The band itself is made up of two strands of white gold that twist back and forth over each other, resembling intertwining vines, and this adds elegance to the piece while also enhancing its floral overtones. To begin the customization process, you can visit our showroom in either Bellevue, WA or Seattle, WA in person, or you can contact us through our website. We’ll take the information you provide about the kind of piece you’re looking for, and we’ll turn it into a unique design for you in CAD. You can view these digital proofs through the online workroom we set up to manage your project, and you can also request to see a wax model of your design before giving approval to move it into production.
As you work through the customization process, our experts will provide samples or suggestions any time you’d like. For instance, we can show you what this piece would look like in yellow or rose gold to help you get a sense of what you’d prefer, and we can model some sample wedding band designs so that you can see what your various options are in that area. We’ll also help you choose the perfect diamond to sit at the top of your ring, and we can modify the filigree pattern as well to make it better reflect your vision of the ideal ring.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
