Halo Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103090Engagement Ring Description
Center Diamond and Halo
The diamond at the center of this design is 1.50 carats and round brilliant cut. It’s held up above the surrounding halo by four rounded prongs made of 18k white gold. The halo itself is slightly squared, with corners that line up with the prongs in the main setting, and it’s composed of 0.16 carats worth of small round diamonds that are all bright cut set and lined with milgrain beading. Diamond Engagement Rings
The shape of the halo adds a subtle contrast to the perfectly round center stone, and it also brings a more vintage aesthetic to the design overall. The halo style is a classic choice for an engagement ring, and the use of bright cut set diamonds and milgrain reinforces that element as well.
Baguette Diamond Accents and Hand Engraving
Baguette diamonds are channel set down each shank shoulder, beginning just next to the edge of the halo and running down a bit past the mid-point on either side. These taper in size along with the band, which narrows dramatically at first, and then less so, on its way down to the bottom. Hand Engraving
The baguette diamonds are arranged lengthwise across the band, and the use of the channel setting allows them to sit flush with each other as well as with the margins of the setting to produce a truly glamorous look. The section of baguette accents is framed beautifully by a double row of milgrain beading, and this ties in nicely with the milgrain in the halo above.
On the fronts of the ring, a subtle, geometric-style pattern is hand-engraved, extending from the same starting point as the diamonds on the top all the way across below the main setting. This engraving is also lined with milgrain, and it brings a hint of sophistication and a timeless quality to the piece as well.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
