Center Diamond and Halo
The diamond in the center of this ring is round brilliant cut, and it comes in at exactly 1 carat. It sits in the center of a partial halo that’s formed by one side of the shank, which reaches up to wrap around and cradle the center stone. This highlights the larger diamond’s perfect shape nicely, and it holds it out to the side of the band to help emphasize it while still keeping the profile of the ring low.
The halo is made up of round bright cut set diamonds that taper to fit within the contours of the wrapped shank, which narrows as it reaches the far side of the center diamond. These add wonderful sparkle to the piece, and they complement the center stone nicely. Diamond Engagement Rings
Band Design and Accents
Most of the way around, this ring features a straight, conventional band. But as it nears the top, one side narrows and curves slightly to come to rest on the outside of the other. This opposing side is what moves up to wrap around the center diamond, and it’s lined with round bright cut set diamonds all the way down to the three-quarter point on the band.
These diamond accents continue seamlessly up along the shoulder of the shank, eventually becoming the halo surrounding the main stone. They are all lined with milgrain beading, and several small beads of metal fill the space at the very tip of the wrapped setting as well.
