Oval Diamond And Pave Engagement Ring
Item #105744 $6,226 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Following this first contact, the clients visited our Seattle, WA showroom in person to view some sample pieces and discuss their vision in more detail with our team. After gathering as much information as we could about their preferences, we developed CAD models of their design for their review. After a few minor tweaks to these, we got their final approval to move their piece into production.
Oval Center
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.59 carat oval diamond that's cradled beautifully in a four-prong platinum setting. The clients knew they wanted an oval center stone from the beginning, and so we built the ring design with this in mind. They had also initially requested that the prongs meet the stone at the compass positions, but after reviewing the models we created, they decided they preferred this more traditional arrangement. Band Design and Pave Set Diamonds
From the beginning, the clients requested a narrow, delicate-looking band, and they also knew they wanted pave set diamonds running all the way around. Altogether, the 175 accent diamonds in this ring combine to weigh 0.63 carats, and they add a decidedly glamorous flair to the design. The fact that the diamonds continue all the way around the band also makes it an eternity design, which introduces the idea of an unbroken bond and the unending nature of the love you and your partner share. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
One other modification the clients made to our initial models was to eliminate a circular outcropping of the band directly below the center diamond because they wanted the wedding band to be able to sit flush up against the engagement ring in the future. We were able to accommodate this request and give them just the delicate, narrow band they were looking for.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
