Platinum Solitaire Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #104173 $3,283 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
The only gemstone in this ring is a one-carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s displayed beautifully in a six-prong setting made of 14k rose gold. The prongs holding the diamond are formed from U shaped strands of metal that meet at their highest points and are linked all the way around the stone. This creates a floral effect, both for the diamond itself when viewed straight on from the top, and also when the center setting is viewed from the side. Diamond Engagement Rings
Directly below the looping prongs, a ring of six O shaped segments is lined up to just meet the lower portion of those U shapes on top. This creates an ornate yet open setting, and it adds to the floral overtones of the design.
Band Design and Customization Options
The band tapers at both the top and bottom, narrowing slightly as it moves up to meet the side of the center setting and somewhat more significantly on the opposite end. A knife edge extends all the way around the band as well, the angular nature of which creates a subtle contrast with the soft, organic-style curves of the center setting. Rose Gold Engagement Rings
Customizing a ring like this could involve choosing a different shape or type of stone for the center, and it may also mean modifying the patterns used in the main setting itself. This is a great opportunity for you to work in a shape or symbol with special meaning for you and your partner. Eliminating the knife edge on the shank is a change worth considering as well, and we can also help you design a matching wedding band to go with this piece.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
