Item #169 $5,052 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Whether you prefer to meet with us in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to discuss your ideas, or you’d like to communicate with our team predominantly online, we have the skills and experience to help you produce a piece of heirloom-quality fine jewelry you’ll always cherish. We create detailed CAD models of every custom piece we make, and we share these with you to get your feedback and ensure every detail is perfect before we cast anything in metal.
Center Diamond and Halo
The centerpiece of this ring is a large princess cut diamond prong set in the middle of a contoured halo of round bright cut set diamonds. The halo angles down slightly, and its corners are cropped, which diverges slightly from the perfectly square cut of the stone. The shape of the halo helps reinforce the vintage style, however, and it adds a subtle contrast to the elegant cut of the center diamond. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Bright cut set diamonds also run all the way around the sides of the halo, and they continue down onto the band. All of the accents in this piece are lined with milgrain beading, which brings some added vintage flair, and the diamonds on the shank extend down to the mid-point on each side. Customization Options
If you’re interested in modifying this design, you may want to begin by choosing a different color metal such as rose or yellow gold. Both of these can help reinforce the vintage aesthetic of the design by bringing some warmth, and the way they contrast with the brilliant sparkle of the diamonds helps to enhance the beauty of both elements.
Alternately, you could consider using a different type of gemstone, either in the center or in place of the diamond accents on the band. Using colored sapphires or diamonds in any of these positions is a great way to integrate a color or type of gemstone with special meaning to you and your partner, and it can add a nice contrast as well.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
