If you’re ready to begin the custom design process, or even if you just want to learn a bit more about how it all works, you can stop by one of our showrooms in Bellevue, WA or Seattle, WA, or you can contact us through our website. We’ll discuss your ideas with you, help you evaluate your options, and revise our digital models as many times as necessary to ensure you’re completely satisfied with the finished piece we ultimately produce for you.
Center Diamond and Halo
The center diamond and two side stones are all cushion cut. The center diamond is 1.11 carats and each stone is surrounded by a split prong individual halo, also in a cushion shape. The characteristics of a cushion cut diamond are the square shape with rounded corners combined with a crushed ice look in the faceting. Diamond Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The symbol of eternity in a figure eight was especially significant to the client. He wanted to incorporate this, so the band was created in a criss-cross design symbolizing eternity. One strand of metal has diamonds split prong set along it, while the other strand remains polished. Rose Gold Engagement Rings
Underneath the top cushion cut diamonds and their respective halos, a custom filigree design was placed. The client went through several iterations of the filigree design before settling on the perfect one, because some of the original concepts included diamonds under the basket instead of filigree. Our expert jewelers handcrafted the design with the smallest polished wires into a vintage-inspired heart and infinity symbols. This is a great area that you could customize with symbols that are unique and important to you.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
