Three Stone Tapered Baguette Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #105742 $6,511 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Diamond
Initially, the clients were interested in an emerald cut emerald, but switched to a diamond partly due to the diamond's superior hardness and durability. The diamond they chose is a 1.50 carat emerald cut, and it's displayed beautifully in a platinum claw prong setting that leaves plenty of space for light to enter on every side. This helps increase the brilliant sparkle of the stone, and the way the talon prongs taper to a point as they curl up around the cropped corners of the diamond complements its clean lines as well. Diamond Engagement Rings
The clients put a lot of thought and effort into finding the perfect stone for their ring. They had initially leaned towards an emerald center, but after evaluating all of the available options for both diamonds and emeralds that met their specifications, they decided that this was the right stone for their piece.
Baguette Accents and Band Design
A tapered baguette diamond is situated running lengthwise down each shank shoulder, and each is positioned so that its wider end is closer to the larger diamond at the top. The placement, setting design and tapering of these accent stones were elements that were very important to the clients, and we modified our CAD models to incorporate the changes they requested until they were sure every detail was perfect. 100% Satisfaction
The band itself is narrow and rounded on top, and the tapering of the baguettes serves to facilitate a smooth transition from one area of the ring to another. The bar-style setting used for the baguettes also gives the ring a bit of contemporary flair, while the three-stone setting style is a classical and timeless selection.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
