This vintage inspired engagement ring was custom designed for our client from Bremerton, WA. Leaning towards antique elements and designs, our client’s dream idea consisted of incorporating filigree patterns and milgrain as main design features. To bloom her ring to life, our designers built 3D CAD images and produced renders along the way. Once thrilled with the design, we shipped a wax model to our client for a closer look on the details and to better visualize its real proportions. The ring was brought to life after 100% satisfaction, with a new story being added to our Joseph Jewelry personalized designs.

Oval Center Gemstone with Filigree and Milgrain Accents
This unique engagement ring reflects the meticulous work of the filigree art and technique. The overall design of this ring showcases an oval center gemstone of approximately 1 ctw, resting atop a culmination of metal wires and beads. These swirls and curls were designed to reflect our client’s love for patterned filigree and organic shapes.
The flow of milgrain accentuates the curves and bends and creates more dimension and texture to the overall design. The filigree work is adorned with a sequence of diamond melees, starting from the shank shoulders and reaches halfway the band. A succession of milgrain beading embellishes the other half of the band, creating a continuous line with the diamond melees. The filigree ornamenting the shank shoulders, briefly spreads towards both faces of the ring for a continuous, homogenous look.

Our client has chosen to simultaneously work on the tracing band design and have them produced all together.
