Center Diamond
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s held in place by a strand of 14k white gold that splits off from the main band to wrap around the diamond and form a bezel setting. This arrangement gives the ring a unique shape, and it simultaneously keeps the profile low and the diamond protected while still showcasing its natural beauty. Diamond Engagement Rings
Wrapped Shank
Most of the way around, the band of this ring is straight and flat. But at about the one-quarter point on one side, it splits, with the thicker top strand veering off to bend around one side of the center diamond and connect to the band on the other side, forming a continuous line. The thinner strand curves out in the opposite direction, and then wraps all the way around the diamond, eventually narrowing to a point that rests up against the main portion of the band.
This arrangement creates an asymmetric design that helps this piece stand out as unique while also providing some contemporary flair. Diamond Accents
Round bright cut set diamonds run all the way across the top half of the ring, following the line of the thicker strand that splits off, and these serve as a lovely complement to the larger diamond. They are present on the companion wedding band as well, creating a link between the two and completing a modern-style adaptation of a halo around the center stone.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
