Center Setting and Halo
At the center of this ring is a 0.93 carat cushion shaped yellow sapphire. It’s held in a four prong platinum setting, and it’s surrounded by a squared halo of round bright cut set diamonds. The straight lines and sharp angles of the halo give the ring a bit of art deco flair, while also highlighting the gentle curves of the center sapphire. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Bright cut set diamonds extend down the shoulders of the shank, with six on each side in a line that reaches nearly to the mid-point on the band. These are lined with milgrain beading, as are the diamonds in the halo. The milgrain acts as a frame, and it adds some vintage overtones to the design as well.
Hand Engraving
A graceful wheat pattern of custom hand engraving covers the top of the ring below the accent diamonds all the way down to the three-quarter point on the band. A complementary pattern also covers the fronts of the shank, as well as the sides of the center setting below the halo.
