This stunning women’s fashion ring features a custom princess cut aquamarine set in a classically-inspired white gold shank with diamond pave accents. It is an original Joseph Jewelry design, and the aquamarine it’s built around is not available commercially. It was cut by an award-winning gemstone cutter specifically for this ring, which helps to add to the splendor and uniqueness of the design.

Custom-cut Aquamarine
The aquamarine this ring centers on is nearly seven carats, and it exhibits a lovely, soft blue color. While it can look almost white from some angles, the contrast created by the sparkling white of the pave diamonds covering the shank helps differentiate it and emphasize the blue undertones.
It’s held in place securely with four double prongs rising up from the split shoulders of the specialty shank below. The open custom setting allows the stone to shine through from every angle, while also providing enough structural support to keep it secure.
Shank Design
This shank was specially designed to hold this stone, and so some of the features it includes were incorporated with that in mind. But it was also created to reflect classical themes, and that dictated not only the shape, but the inclusion of the diamond pave as well.
Pave describes the type of setting seen here, in which little to no metal shows between the rows of small round diamonds covering the shank. Although this type of setting is still popular today, it is often associated with antique pieces, and so it helps give this ring a classical flair.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- Final inspection

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
