Design Your Own Ring
Peridot Center and Milgrain Accents
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.53 carat cushion shaped peridot with a checkerboard cut that produces a distinctive pattern of light and dark sections that shift depending on the angle the ring is viewed from. The stone is oriented to sit with its rounded corners at the compass positions, and the bezel setting hugs the stone closely except for spots in the middle of each side.
In these four areas, the margin of the setting angles outward, forming small points that introduce some dramatic movement into the design. To highlight this contrast, the top of the bezel setting is lined with a double row of milgrain beading, a detail which also brings some vintage flair to the piece.
Band Design and Filigree
The band is made from 14k white gold, and it’s one solid piece most of the way around. It splits into two strands about one quarter of the way from the main setting, with each of the strands arching outward to meet the side of the center setting at about the same spot where the corners in the bezel setting extend outward, providing a nice overall balance to the design. Fashion Rings
The sides of the main setting are made up of a vaguely organic-style filigree with openings that allow plenty of light in to reach the stone while still providing protection and facilitating a comfortable fit for the ring.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
