Center Ruby
The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.50 carat oval ruby, and it’s prong set in 14k white gold. A halo of split prong set diamonds surrounds this gorgeous center stone, bringing wonderful sparkle and dramatic contrast to the piece. The rich red of the ruby is complemented perfectly by the proximity of these diamonds, as well as the warm tones of the rose gold that make up much of the body of the ring.
Diamond Accents and Halos
Two round diamonds sit on each side of the center ruby, with the one closer to the center slightly larger than the other. Each diamond is surrounded by its own halo of split prong set diamonds, just as the center ruby is, and all five of these halos overlap each other, creating a lovely layered effect. A single princess cut diamond is flush set in each ring front directly below the center ruby as well, adding some surprise sparkle to the sides of the piece. Halo Engagement Rings
Two-tone Design
All of the gemstones in this ring, with the exception of the princess cut diamonds, are set in white gold, but the majority of the band is actually made of 14k rose gold. The wide, flat band is solid across the bottom half of the ring, but it opens up right around the mid-point, with two strands continuing all the way up to the top on either side of the center. Between these, the open space is filled with the diamond accents and their halos, making for a truly dazzling presentation.
