Asscher Cut in Halo Setting
Asscher cuts come square in shape with layered facets and clipped corners creating an octagonal shape. The signature appeal of this specific cut is a result of the brilliance it gives thanks to the depth of its pavilion and its high crown.
The beauty of this purple amethyst is accentuated by a modified halo. Round diamonds line up the periphery of the center stone while accommodating two baguette diamonds on each side of the ring’s gold rim. This additional touch gives the overall look an unusual approach to a halo setting and elevates the classiness of this fashion ring.
The center piece is secured by four claw prongs which grip to it and hold it safe in place.
Cathedral Style and Split Prong Setting
In this design, the shank uplifts the amethyst in a cathedral style giving it a distinct profile. Round bright cut diamonds lay on the shank shoulders to almost halfway of the band and are held in a split prong setting.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
