Aquamarine Center and Diamond Halo
At the top of this ring, a 1.80 carat cushion shaped diamond is bezel set in 14k white gold. A double row of milgrain beading lines the top of the bezel setting, providing a nice frame for the aquamarine and adding to the vintage overtones of the piece as a whole. Design Your Own Ring
Just outside and below the bezel setting, a halo of split prong set diamonds runs around the center stone, following its contours precisely. The diamonds add a wonderful and glamorous sparkle, and the halo detail is present in the matching earrings as well.
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is straight and flat across the bottom, and it begins to widen gradually moving up the sides. It splits into two strands somewhat above the mid-point on each side, and the strands continue to diverge on their way up to meet the edges of the halo.
Split prong set diamonds line both of these strands, adding a glamorous touch and creating a connection to the center setting above. The space below the center stone on both ring fronts is filled with a swirling scroll filigree that adds to the vintage style of the design while also bringing an elegant intricacy to the piece. The design of the filigree is a good place to start if you want to customize this ring while keeping the general outline intact. Our artisans create these elements by hand, and so we can incorporate a range of symbols or styles, limited only by what the space allows.
Another option might be to switch the shape of the center stone to an emerald cut or an oval, depending on your personal preference and the overall style you’re after. You could also forgo the milgrain around the center stone, and you could experiment with different setting styles for the stones on the shank and in the halo.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
