Tanzanite Center
At the top of this ring, a 2.50 carat cushion cut tanzanite sits in a four prong setting made from 18k white gold. All of the prongs originate from a single point directly below the main setting, and they angle in slightly on the way up to complement the elegant shape of the center stone.
The rich color of the tanzanite, with its deep blue accented with hints of purple, makes for a dramatic centerpiece while also enhancing the uniqueness of the design. Tanzanite is a relative newcomer to the world of fine jewelry, but it’s rapidly increasing in popularity and makes for a wonderful alternative to diamond or sapphire in an engagement ring.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
On either side of the tanzanite, a trillion shaped diamond is chevron prong set within the opening created between the two strands of the split, criss-cross shank. These diamonds combined total 0.25 carats, and they provide just the right amount of contrast with their brilliant white sparkle, helping to enhance the beauty of the larger blue stone above. Both strands of the shank are also bright cut set with round diamonds, and milgrain beading frames these accent stones for a lovely hint of vintage flair. The diamonds continue down nearly to the bottom of the ring, leaving just enough space between them to accommodate a sizing bar, and they highlight the elegant movement of the shank design nicely as well.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
