Description
This unique, one-of-a-kind, engagement ring features 14 diamonds, an Alexandrite center stone, along with two kite Alexandrites. The original idea of the design first emerged when our designer recommended shield side stones to complement the client's notion of the ring that they had in mind. Kite Alexandrites were then selected to bring out the brilliance of the center stone.

Three-Stone Halo Setting
The centerpiece is a 0.86 ctw Alexandrite with two blue green kite side stones of the same type, contrasting the dark blue of the center stone. This latter is flawlessly framed by a shared prongs ring setting. The side stones spread the shine of the main stone and extends it outwards. Those accents are a natural eye grabber which leads the sight towards the center piece.
Such settings elevate the design and give it an added value.
Shared-Prongs Ring Setting
This setting style secures the center stone and the additional diamonds around it at the same time. It allows for additional sparkle and gives the impression of a halo setting encircling the center Alexandrite. Those 14 diamonds are of several sizes bringing a playful yet classy aspect to this fashion ring.
Customization
Consider customizing this ring in yellow gold to give it a more contrasting pop of color with the existing blue Alexandrites, or even have it designed in rose gold for a more modern touch.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
