Description
This stunning women’s anniversary ring features a specialty-cut pink tourmaline in a six-prong setting, accented by diamonds and custom filigree. The design was created for a couple from Bellevue, WA, who fell in love with the center stone at one of the gemstone parties we hold at our Bellevue, WA showroom and wanted us to create the perfect piece to display it.

Once we’d begun the custom design project, we shared several sketches with them online to see which direction they wanted to go. We then created highly detailed 3D images of the option they chose, and as soon as they gave the go-ahead, we put the piece into production.
Pink Tourmaline
The centerpiece of this ring is a beautiful, specialty-cut pink tourmaline, whose hexagonal shape is nicely complemented by the six-prong platinum setting holding it in place. It sits in a basket made up of custom heart filigree that helps reenforce the romantic overtones the stone brings with it. And its sparkling pink color contrasts perfectly with the brilliant white of the platinum that makes up the rest of the ring.
Diamond Accents
Each shank shoulder includes a round brilliant cut diamond prong set into a triangular depression that mirrors the tapering of the shank as it moves away from the center setting. These accent diamonds add just a hint of sparkle to make sure the piece is truly eye-catching from every angle. And when the ring is viewed straight on from the top, they line up perfectly with the sides of the tourmaline, adding an additional level of contrast to further highlight the center stone.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
