Custom Tanzanite And Diamond Fashion Ring
Item #102909Fashion Ring Description
After learning a bit about her tastes and style preferences, we created a CAD model of the ring we proposed to build for her. She did have a few questions about this model, and once she was sure we had every detail the way she wanted, she approved the design to move into production. Design Your Own Ring
Tanzanite Center
A 3.36 oval tanzanite takes center stage in this piece. It’s dazzling blue color is the perfect complement to the 14k white gold it’s set in, and the contrast produced only helps to intensify the gem’s beautiful shine.
Tanzanite was first discovered relatively recently, and it’s only found in a small section of Tanzania, which is where it gets its name. It has a beautiful blue color, and it ranges from 6.5 to 7 on Mohs’ hardness scale. This puts it below diamonds and sapphires, but still in a reasonable range for use in fine custom jewelry like this.
Wrapped Split Shank
The shank of this ring begins as a solid piece, but it splits in two just below the mid-point. From here, the two strands diverge quickly before coming back in to cross over each other, and then separating again to wrap around the lower portion of the main setting. This gives the ring a lovely fluidity, and it complements the oval shape of the center stone nicely. Custom Rings
Diamond Accents
One strand of the split shank on each side has split prong set diamonds running up from the spot of the split all the way to the top. Because of this, they wrap around the top and bottom of the tanzanite as well, helping to intensify the brilliance of the center gem while also adding some sparkle of their own to create a truly glamorous look.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.

What a wonderful company! I was able to bring in a beautiful Tanzanite which they helped me design the most beautiful setting I could imagine. My taste in jewelry is not as "mainstream" as others, and they worked with my likes and dislikes to help create exactly what I wanted. There was no pressure to conform to any particular design. It was "my ring" and they helped me make it "my way". Their job is your satisfaction and happiness and I would strongly recommend this company to anyone and everyone!
