To begin the process, she shared several inspiration pieces with us, most of which were drawn from the Romanov period and included organic leaf and vine motifs. We worked through several different design iterations with her, each time incorporating her feedback and adjusting the piece until we hit on exactly the right combination of features to get the look she was after.
Fancy Diamonds
The diamonds grouped in the center of this ring add lovely color and sparkle to the piece. Their various hues reinforce the natural themes the client wanted to see, and they also contrast nicely with each other as well as with the various different colored metals that make up the settings and shank.
The largest diamond in the group is a pear-shaped fancy yellow diamond that’s held securely in a claw prong setting made of 18k yellow gold. The color of the setting blends beautifully with the rich yellow of the stone, helping it to really stand out. The pear shape contributes to the organic theme, as well, and it helps unite the various elements included in the piece.
There are four more diamonds worked into the center setting, and these include one round white diamond set in platinum claw prongs, and two round white diamonds and one oval pink diamond, each set in rose gold claw prongs. The use of multiple shapes and colors, for both the diamonds and the settings, really helps give the ring an organic feel, and it helps all of the stones stand out thanks to the multiple layers of contrast worked in.
Organic Shank
The organic look would not be complete, however, without the beautiful custom filigree that forms the top portion of the band and then continues up into the center setting, intertwining with the stones. Its leaves and vines move smoothly, swirling around and naturally carrying the design up to its pinnacle where both sides meet at the large yellow diamond.

After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
