Lion's Head Hand Carved Ring
Item #101511Fashion Ring Description
Hand Carving
On the top section of this ring, a lion’s head rises up from the flat surface, carved in exquisite detail. The background is textured, and it’s bordered by a smooth, polished rail that frames the entire top section.
The sides of the ring are also hand carved, with one featuring a panther and the other an eagle clutching a snake. These designs both depict powerful animals, but they are in subordinate positions to the lion at the top, which helps bring unity to the design and reinforce the theme of the lion as ruler of the animal kingdom.
While the main images in this ring may be what attracts your attention first, the intricate details don’t end there. Even the fronts of the ring feature a scroll design that runs from top to bottom on both sides, and a decorative beading runs down the inside of this section as well. There is no corner of this ring that hasn’t been carefully and intentionally crafted, and that’s part of what makes it such a special and eye-catching piece.
Diamond Accents
A ring of round bright cut set diamonds runs around the top of the ring, further offsetting the top section and adding a subtle sparkle to the piece. The diamonds stand out just enough from the 14k white gold to give the ring a touch of glamour without being overpowering, and they also help to highlight the special position of the lion.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
