Purple Sapphires
At the top of this ring, four princess cut purple sapphires are arranged in a square and flush set. Their placement mirrors the shape of the cut, bringing a nice balance and symmetry to the design. The dazzling purple color also contrasts nicely with the silvery tones of the palladium, and this helps intensify the sapphires’ shine.
Sapphires come in a wide variety of colors, and they’re nearly as hard as diamonds, making them a good choice for use in a piece of fine custom jewelry that you plan on wearing on a regular basis. Band Design and Finish Options
The band of this ring is made of palladium, with a relatively narrow lower portion that widens as it moves towards the top. At the highest point, the band is flat, and this squared section is where the sapphires are set.
The top of the band, as well as the entire flat portion in the center, is covered with a lovely brushed finish, which creates a matte surface. This helps highlight the sparkle of the sapphires, and it also contrasts nicely with the high polish found on the beveled edges and both ring fronts.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
