Center Ruby and Diamond Halo
At the top of this ring, a 0.75 carat round ruby is prong set in 14k white gold. The prongs of this main setting rise up from the inner margin of the surrounding halo, and they hold the ruby only slightly up above that halo, giving the design a relatively low profile overall.
The contrast between the rich red of the ruby and the brilliant white sparkle of the diamonds in the halo ensures that the larger stone makes a dramatic statement, however, and the split prong set diamonds in the halo also reflect extra light up onto the ruby, helping to increase its sparkle.
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is straight and narrow most of the way around, splitting into two strands very close to the center setting. The two strands that form here diverge quickly, rising to meet the underside of the halo on opposite sides.
Just before the split in the band occurs, lines of split prong set diamond accents begins, and these continue along the two strands when they form. They tie in nicely with the diamonds in the halo, and they highlight elegantly the subtle intricacy of the design. Fashion Rings

Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
