14k Yellow Gold Custom Brushed Men's Wedding Band
Item #102967 $4,731Men's Wedding Band Description
Band Design
This band is 7mm wide, and its top surface is domed, with a pattern of hexagons running all the way around. These rows are staggered so that they line up together perfectly, and their size is a good fit for the width of the band. The many facets the hexagonal pattern creates gives the ring’s surface a subtle complexity that makes it unique without being flashy, and that was exactly the look the client was after. Unplated White Gold
In addition to the textured surface, this ring is also brushed to achieve a nice matte effect. That softens the edges of the angular pattern a bit, and it also works well with the polished sides of the ring to create just the right contrast and to highlight the beautiful champagne tones of the 14k unplated white gold.
Most white gold jewelry is rhodium plated to give it a bright, silvery color, but this does wear off over time. The natural color of white gold is the champagne shade seen here, and it’s a great choice if you’re looking for something with a bit of color but don’t want to go all the way to a full yellow or rose gold piece.
Matching Wedding Sets
The women’s ring we designed at the same time as this piece features the same hexagonal pattern but scaled down to fit on a narrower band. It’s made of yellow gold, but the use of the same surface design leaves no doubt that the two were meant to be a set.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
