Custom Wedding Band
Item #102974 $2,765Women's Wedding Ring Description
Hexagon Pattern
The clients’ initial vision for this piece was to have a pattern of hexagons the same size as they were on the companion men’s band, but fewer rows of them since this ring was narrower. When we built this design in CAD, however, it didn’t come out looking exactly right, and so we instead scaled down the complete pattern from the men’s ring to fit on the thinner band.
Once the clients saw that version, they immediately fell in love with it and approved it to move into production. The surface pattern is intricate yet subtle. It achieves a satisfying balance between the organic and geometric styles, and the high polish finish gives is a smooth, classy glow.
Matching Wedding Bands
It was very important to these clients that their wedding rings look like a set. That’s why they wanted to use the same hexagonal pattern for both, but they did choose slightly different colored metals to better match their own personal styles. This women’s ring is made from 14k yellow gold, while the men’s was 14k unplated white gold. Matching Wedding Sets
This difference in color doesn’t take away from the unity of the set at all, though, thanks to the inclusion of the other shared features, which is a good thing to keep in mind when you’re considering how to design your own set. Utilizing some carefully-placed shared features, whether they’re gemstones, custom hand engraving, or metal type, can create a set of pieces that obviously belong together even though they’re not identical.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
