This stylish men’s wedding ring features round black diamonds channel set all the way around the band in an angled line. It was created for a client from Kent, WA, who came into our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to initiate the project and finalize the details.

Black Diamonds
The 55 black diamonds in this ring are all round and channel set. They measure 0.62 carats in total, and their deep, rich sparkle contrasts wonderfully with the silvery surface of the brushed palladium band.
The line of diamonds continues all the way around the ring, but it covers the space at an angle, veering closer to the top margin on one side and the bottom margin on the other. This subtle movement lends additional character to the piece, and it works in the eternity theme while adding a unique twist. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
Finish and Metal Options
The top of this ring is brushed, creating a nice contrast between the glitter of the diamonds and the matte surface surrounding them. However, there are several other finishes to consider if you’re after a slightly different look. These include sandblasted, which produces a rougher matte effect, and polished. A hammered finish is also an option, and it would create a gently irregular surface that can then be covered with either a brushed or polished finish as well.
The type of metal used is another element to consider when you’re customizing a design like this. For instance, white gold and platinum both offer silvery colors similar to palladium but with slightly different price points and properties, and yellow or rose gold would introduce some warmer tones along with more vintage themes.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
