Custom Black Diamond Men's Wedding Band
Item #103912Men's Wedding Band Description
Bezel Set Black Diamonds
There are three black diamonds in this ring, each of which is pear shaped and bezel set in platinum. All three together total 0.59 carats, and the center stone is slightly larger than the two side stones. The stone in the middle is oriented to lie perpendicular to the band, with its rounded end facing one side and its corner facing the other.
The side stones, on the other hand, angle inward slightly, and this allows the diamonds to integrate more smoothly into the organic pattern of engraving that surrounds them. In the context of this engraving, the diamonds form rose buds, and the bezel settings holding them help to highlight their elegant shapes. Hand Engraving
Hand Engraving and Contrasting Finishes
Custom relief-style hand engraving covers the rest of the band in the form of a meandering vine, with smaller vines and leaves branching off of it. Some of these smaller vines are lined with milgrain beading for some added texture and a hint of vintage flair. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
The rails, vine pattern, and bezel settings are all polished on this piece, while the recessed area around the engraving is sandblasted. That combination produces a nice contrast that allows the design of the engraving to stand out more clearly, and the matte surface created by the sandblasting also adds to the organic overtones of the piece as a whole.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
