Band Design and Gemstones
The band is 8mm wide and made of 18k yellow gold. It’s gently domed on top, and features a comfort fit on the interior. A narrow channel cuts across the top surface of the ring, curving up and down in a wave-like pattern. Contrasting Finishes
The top of the band is brushed, creating a soft matte surface and a nice, finished look for the piece. The channel is polished, however, adding some contrast to the design and ensuring that it stands out despite its relative narrowness. The sparkle of the gemstones adds to this contrast, echoing the shine of the polished channel and contrasting nicely with the brushed surface all around.
Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this design, one option might be to use a different combination of finishes. Options in this regard include switching the position of the brushed and polished finish, using only one finish on all ring surfaces, and adding a hammered texture below the brushed finish on the wider top surface of the band.
