Description
This elegant men’s wedding ring features brushed center band bordered by polished rails on either side. It was designed for a client from Sammamish, WA, who first came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to get her project started, and then finalized the details through our online workroom. She was very happy with the way the ring turned out, and we created her wedding band as well.

Contrasting Finishes
While men’s wedding rings aren’t typically as ornate as women’s, that doesn’t mean they can’t include some subtle design touches to make them stand out. On this ring, for instance, the flat surface of the solid 14k white gold band is broken twice by narrow grooves that separate the wider center section from the thinner rails on either side.
To emphasize this distinction, the center band received a brushed finish, while the rails were polished to a high shine. This contrast adds a subtle level of complexity to the piece, all while still sticking with a generally understated design.
Metal and Finish Choices
White gold is a popular choice for many types of rings, and its lovely silver color gives this piece a sleek, modern feel. But if you’d rather go with a more vintage or classical look, you may want to try switching to yellow or rose gold. You could also create a two-tone effect by using rose gold for the center band and white gold for the rails, or vice versa.
Some other finish options are available as well, and you can use these to alter the style of the piece. For instance, you could use a hammered finish on the center section and either brush or polish the rails depending on your personal preference.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
