Description
This elegant men’s wedding ring features custom hand engraving running all the way around the band on both ring fronts, accented by milgrain beading and a brushed finish on the smooth top surface. It was created for a couple from Osaka, Japan, and we also made a matching women’s ring for them at the same time.

Hand Engraving and Milgrain
On the fronts of this ring, an intricate scroll-style pattern of custom hand engraving continues all the way around the platinum band. The pattern used here is the same one found on the same spot on the women’s ring that we also made for this couple, and that shared detail helps tie the two piece more closely together. Milgrain beading also frames the engraved sections of this ring, and that’s a feature the women’s ring also shares. The two pieces are not identical, however, as the women’s ring is made from yellow gold, and the engraving extends to its top surface as well. This is a great example of the way men’s wedding rings can tie into the women’s set through the use of shared features while still maintaining a distinctively masculine style and allowing you to tailor the design to better reflect your personal tastes.
Contrasting Finishes
The engraved portions of this piece are polished to a high shine, but the top surface is brushed. This creates a soft matte surface that contrasts subtly with the textured and polished surfaces on either side. A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
