Damascus Steel Wedding Band
Item #102938 $3,786Men's Wedding Band Description
Damascus Steel
On the top of this band, a layer of Damascus steel with its distinctive organic patterns makes up the majority of the domed surface. The metal’s natural two-tone look is intensified by the acid treatment that blackens some parts while leaving others with an elegant grey color. This highlights the patterns within the metal as well, and both of these sections contrast beautifully with the narrow rose gold inlay that runs down one side of the band. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
Rose Gold Sleeve
The interior of the band is made from 14k rose gold, and it’s only visible when the ring is viewed from the side. It matches the rose gold inlay, however, creating a link between the two areas of the ring, and its inner surface is slightly rounded to create a comfort fit. Both the rose gold and Damascus steel on the top and fronts of the ring are brushed to create a soft matte surface, while the inner rose gold surface is polished to a high shine.
Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this piece, there are a number of directions you could go. For instance, you might want to choose a different color of gold for the inlay and inner surface of the band. You could also experiment with different combinations and placements of finishes, perhaps leaving the steel brushed but polishing the rose gold inlay to create another layer of contrast within the design. 100% Satisfaction

To reduce color fading, avoid friction against any surface. Avoid wearing your mokume ring during exercise, construction work, gardening, or other abrasive activities. When owning a mokume gane ring with oxidization, avoid chlorine or other similar chemicals as they eat away the patina.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
