Men's Sandblasted Mokume Square Band
Item #100792Men's Wedding Band Description
Our design team is ready to work with you to customize this to match your ideal specifications. We can show you examples of what various features would look like when combined with this design, and we’ll adjust our models as many times as necessary until you’re completely satisfied. You can stop into our Bellevue, WA showroom anytime to get the custom design process going, or you can reach out to us through our website.
Square Band
This band features squared corners, with sides that are gently curved to create a strong, masculine profile. The edges are slightly beveled as well, and this gives the ring a complex, angular surface that’s perfectly complemented by the swirling pattern of the mokume. The interior of the band is still a perfect circle, with the slight dome of the comfort fit integrated as well.
If you like something a little more square, you might consider doing away with the beveled edges, and you can also adjust the width of the band to make it fit more comfortably. This piece is 6mm wide, which is on the narrow side for a men’s wedding ring. If you're not sure exactly how wide of a band you prefer, you can try some on in our showroom or at your local jewelry store to ensure you end up with a piece that is as comfortable as possible.
Mokume Gane
This ring is made from a combination of 14k palladium white gold and sterling silver. Thin sheets of the two metals were layered together and then forged using the special mokume gane technique to create the lovely patterns that cover the band. This technique was developed hundreds of years ago in Japan, and our artisans have extensive experience producing quality pieces like this one with a wide variety of patterns, each of which is completely unique. Details
To reduce color fading, avoid friction against any surface. Avoid wearing your mokume ring during exercise, construction work, gardening, or other abrasive activities. When owning a mokume gane ring with oxidization, avoid chlorine or other similar chemicals as they eat away the patina.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
