Channel Set Diamonds
The five diamonds in this ring are all round and channel set in 14k white gold. They run in a line across the top of the band, and their perfect curves contrast elegantly with the clean lines of the channel they’re set in. All together, these stones weight 0.25 carats, and the silvery shine of the white gold helps to enhance their brilliant sparkle.
Band Design and Contrasting Finishes
This ring is 6mm wide, and it’s separated into sections by shallow, rounded grooves that run all the way around it on either side of the center. The narrow rails on the outside of the grooves angle downward slightly towards the finger, and they’re polished to a high shine. The middle section of the band, however, which is where the diamonds are located, is brushed, and that creates a matte surface that contrasts nicely with the polished finish on the rails and grooves. Customization Options
Customizing a ring like this could involve choosing a different combination of finishes to highlight the design detail on the band, or it could mean switching to another type of metal entirely. Both rose and yellow gold could bring some classical overtones to the ring, and you could further intensify that by switching to a bright cut setting for the diamonds and going with a polished finish on the entire band. 100% Satisfaction
Alternately, you may want to go with princess cut diamonds rather than round so that they will sit flush with the margins of the channel, and you could even choose to substitute colored gemstones like sapphire in place of some or all of the diamonds.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
