Channel Set Diamonds
The five diamonds in this ring are all round and channel set in 14k white gold. They run in a line across the top of the band, and their perfect curves contrast elegantly with the clean lines of the channel they’re set in. All together, these stones weight 0.25 carats, and the silvery shine of the white gold helps to enhance their brilliant sparkle.
Band Design and Contrasting Finishes
This ring is 6mm wide, and it’s separated into sections by shallow, rounded grooves that run all the way around it on either side of the center. The narrow rails on the outside of the grooves angle downward slightly towards the finger, and they’re polished to a high shine. The middle section of the band, however, which is where the diamonds are located, is brushed, and that creates a matte surface that contrasts nicely with the polished finish on the rails and grooves. Customizing a ring like this could involve choosing a different combination of finishes to highlight the design detail on the band, or it could mean switching to another type of metal entirely.
