Channel Set Diamonds
The five diamonds in this ring are all round, and they’re channel set in a line that runs along the top of the band in the center section. The ends of the channel are rounded to follow the contours of the stones on either side, while the clean lines of the channel margins provide a clear contrast to the perfect curves of the diamonds in the middle. All together, the diamonds in this ring total 0.25 carats, and their brilliant white sparkle is complemented nicely by the silvery shine of the 14k white gold they’re set in.
Contrasting Finishes
The band is divided into two general sections, with a raised middle portion and step rails on either side. The rails feature a set of grooves on their inner half that add some texture and complexity to the design, and these also serve to separate the rails that much more from the main portion of the ring. The diamond accents sit entirely within the middle section at the top of the band, and this center area is also visually separated from the rest of the ring by the scratch finish that’s been applied to it.
