Two-tone Band Design
The main body of this ring is 14k yellow gold, and the band itself is 8mm wide in total. The top surface, however, is dominated by a 14k white gold inlay that runs all the way around the ring and that leaves only narrow yellow gold rails visible when the ring is viewed straight on from the top down. The two-tone look this creates adds a classical feel to the design, and it also helps to highlight the separation between the two sections of the ring. This separation is further enhanced by the different characters of the two sections. While the white gold is flat and wide all the way around, the yellow gold rails are rounded and much narrower.
Contrasting Finishes
Further highlighting the separation between the different sections of this ring are the contrasting brushed and polished finishes that they display. The wider white gold section is brushed to create a matte surface that brings out its rich silvery undertones, while the yellow gold is polished to enhance the classical elements it contributes to the design.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
