Band Design and Contrasting Finishes
This ring is made of 14k white gold, and it’s 8mm wide all the way around. The top surface is flat, with only very narrow beveled edges on either side. The bevels are highlighted through the use of contrasting finishes on the different areas of the ring, with the top surface being brushed and both the bevels and the ring fronts polished to a high shine. The 8mm width is within the normal range for a men’s ring, and the perfectly flat top surface brings a classical elegance to the design. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
Customization Options
If you’re interested in putting a personal touch on this piece, there are many ways to go about it. For instance, you could begin by adjusting the width of the band to whatever’s most comfortable for you. If you’re not sure about this, the best thing to do is to try on some rings of various widths to figure out what’s most comfortable and what you most like the look of.
You may also want to modify the width of the beveled edges, possibly by widening them to make them a more prominent feature. This small change would fundamentally alter the nature of the design, allowing you to keep the same basic framework for the piece while injecting your personal sense of style as well.
Adding a flush set gemstone is another option to consider, and you could place it on the outside of the band where it would be visible to anyone or on the inside so that it would be a special personal detail only you and your partner would know about. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
